LUCKY

A young man named Lucky nicks $12,000 from the local mobster, Pauly. In return, Pauly and his standover man Muzzo give Lucky an ultimatum: repay the money or have his head screwed off. So, on fear of death, and with a freshy broken arm, Lucky begins a bizarre, whirlwind trip through the underbelly of Sydney. Along the way he meets a collection of urban archetypes - Gibbering Man, Bartender, Backpacker Girl and Bouncer - in the city's bars, emergency rooms and public transport system. But Lucky never forgets his greater goal: to find a gorgeous, untouchable Novotel receptionist named Claire, and make her his Valentine.
